Hi.

I’m Kait, a hobbyist photographer living in Colorado.

I never expected a camera to change the way I experience the world, but somewhere along the way, it did.

I find myself noticing the moments that might have once slipped by. A quiet road disappearing into fog. A dog watching the world from a car window. The way the light lingers for just a few minutes before it's gone.

I don't photograph those moments because they're rare. I photograph them because they're easy to miss, and easy to forget. They remind me to slow down, pay attention, and hold onto them before they become memories.

I think, more than anything, I'm afraid of forgetting how beautiful life can be. The moments that make us feel whole are often the most fleeting, and photography is the closest I've found to holding onto them just a little longer.

This website grew out of that feeling. It's my field journal—a place where I've collected the places I've wandered, the people and dogs I've met, and the moments that have stayed with me long after I put my camera away—the ones that remind me just how much beauty can exist in an ordinary day.

I'm really glad you're here.

Come see what I noticed. Maybe you'll notice something, too.

If something here reminded you of a place, a person, or a moment of your own, I'd love to hear about it.

If there's a photograph you'd like to bring into your own home, I'd be happy to make a print. Feel free to send me an email at kait@fujifotofactory.com, and we can chat about it.
